Claire Graham

Claire Graham

Practice manager/Business partner

My name is Claire and I am a joint owner and the Practice Manager at Vet3Equine Care.

I started my veterinary career as a part time receptionist with Uplands Way and worked my way up from Head Receptionist to Deputy Practice Manager then finally Practice Manager after the company was sold to Vet Partners back in 2017.

Unfortunately I could only endure 6 months working for a big corporate until I threw in the towel and had a change of career!

I am so excited to be back working within a veterinary environment again especially with such great partners and vets in Edu and Georgie!

I have a whole menagerie of pets at home, mostly rescued, which include 3 dogs, 4 cats. 4 goats, some hens and my Shetland Junior and Rescue Donkey Burt! So I have little spare time in between working and looking after this lot!

Nurse

Kat is our registered Veterinary nurse and has been part of the team since August 2023. For those that don’t know, Kat has worked for many years previous to this with Claire, Georgina and Eduardo and was itching to get back with us as soon as she was able to.
Kat qualified as a nurse in 2014 and added to this qualification, furthering her knowledge in equine and completed that at the end of last year. She assists the vets and Claire with many duties and can even be seen out solo on suitable visits.
She has two cats called Smiffy and Berlioz and a Labrador called Dennis who is often seen in the office carrying a toy around.

Pip Blake

Receptionist

Pip joins us in a part time role helping Claire in the office or where needed an extra pair of hands for the vets… here’s a bit of a bio from Pip herself: I completed a degree in equine therapy and rehabilitation in 2014 and then went on to work as a groom at World Horse Welfare for a couple of years.

I then moved onto Rossdales Equine Hospital in 2016 as a technician, handling the horses for the vets and helping with x-rays, scans, scopes etc. I covered the Diagnostic Centre Administrator role for a brief time and when they left I took the role permanently. There was then a shuffle and my role changed to Clincial Services Manager where I then looked after the whole Exning site (Diagnositc Centre and Hospital), this involved managing staff, equipment and the day to day running of the site.

Then in 2024 I left to have my little boy and have now joined the Vet3 Team part time to fit around our new family life and my husband’s farrier schedule.
We also have a small flock of Oxford Down sheep that we show and breed in our spare time.
And not forgetting our 2 dogs, Buzz and Barney.
